WriteFlow (late 2025) is a comprehensive AI writing assistant suite built by Phuoc in late 2025 with multiple components: a Chrome browser extension, a full-featured chat interface, a Google Docs MCP server, and a marketing landing page.
The WriteFlow Chrome extension is built with Plasmo framework and React 18.3.1, integrating directly into Google Docs as a sidebar for real-time AI writing assistance using Anthropic Claude via AI SDK with streaming responses.
WriteFlow Chat is the main chatbot interface built with Next.js 15.6 (canary), React 19, and Drizzle ORM. It features CodeMirror syntax highlighting, Prosemirror rich text editor with tables and markdown support, streaming responses with multiple AI provider support (xAI Grok, OpenAI, Anthropic), and Neon Serverless Postgres with Vercel Blob storage.
The WriteFlow Google Docs MCP Server enables programmatic Google Docs/Drive access through the Model Context Protocol. It supports read/write/format operations, tab management for multi-tab documents, image insertion, table creation, comment management with replies, and full Google Drive file operations with OAuth 2.0 authentication.
